The clutch and brake pedal assembly is mounted onto a bracket that is spot welded onto the firewall in 6X 5mm diameter spot welds. The thin firewall will eventually have small 5mm diameter holes ripped off along with the welded joint through use of the clutch pedal, leading to squeaky clutch and sometimes brake pedal.
This kit allows the replacement without removing your dash.
Time of install: 1-2 hours.
Included in purchase: 6 sets of hardware to replace the 6 spot welds, and assembly instructions.
Consider buying the accessory kit as well to make your install painless.
